How I Learned To Do Acrylics

I learned to do acrylics basically by watching a lady at my grandma’s shop do nails. This was my passion! I loved to paint my nails when I was little. I always had my little table set up like I was a professional. I thought I knew how to do my nails. My friends always asked me to paint their nails, and I loved to, but my nails always had to be better than theirs. As I got older I started watching YouTube videos about how to do them. I think I am pretty good about doing nails. The only part I am not good at is forming an acrylic nail because I haven’t really done it on any body. I have formed a gel nail and that is not very hard. I think it is easier than forming an acrylic because an acrylic runs easier than a gel nail I think. At special occasions such as Prom, Graduation, and Homecoming most of my friends ask me to do their nails. I usually tell them no because they can’t pay me and my family uses our money to buy supplies and that is very irritating. My passion is to get my nail tech license and I hope someday I will.

My Morning Routine

Have you ever wondered who actually has a morning routine? Well I do and I am going to tell you what my morning routine is. The very first thing I do is get up and look at Facebook. The next thing I do is go take a bath (I take a bath because showers scare me). After my bath I put my contacts in, brush my teeth and put acne cream on. The fourth thing I do is get dressed and sometimes it takes a little while for me to pick an outfit. The fifth thing I do is go blow dry my hair and then put make up on. Then what I do is straighten my hair, which really doesn’t take me that long at all because my hair isn’t layered.  Finally what I do is get all my school stuff together, and off I go. Depending on if is winter or not depends on if I start my car early or not. This is my morning .routine. Comment below and tell me your morning routine.

My Life When Daisy Was A Puppy!

I got my dog Daisy when she was about 4-5 weeks old. She was one of those puppies that got up in the middle of the night and I had to let her out. She loved to chew shoes, walls, and especially toilet paper. Daisy loved to chase the mop and the vacuum. I begged and begged the lady who had Daisy to give her to me a day early. The moment I saw Daisy she was everything to me because at this point I had a lot going on in my life. At first I let Daisy sleep in my bed the first two nights. After that night I made her sleep in a carrier. She at first whined because she was in the carrier but then she fell asleep. She, to me, was exactly like a baby. As she got old she got better about the chewing and whining. Daisy so far has chewed shoes, walls, glasses, toilet paper, stuffed animals, money, and corn on the cob. Daisy now sleeps in my bedroom on my bed and she doesn’t have a carrier to sleep in. She is the only dog that my family has that doesn’t sleep in a carrier. Daisy is pretty spoiled because of me.  She loves milk and her back scratched. She can drink out of a baby bottle. You know when you tell a kid 1,2,3 jump and they do? Well Daisy does that too. I love her MORE than anything in the world and I would do anything for her.

Have you ever wondered about what life would be like if everyone hated each other? What would people do? How would people cope with no friends and no one to talk too? Well my story is different.  I have been going to school with three of my classmates since I was in preschool. I also go to a very small school so I have 7 people in my class. There are 4 girls and 3 boys. We get along pretty good but we also have our ups and downs. We only have about 1 year left of high school. I think graduating will be hard. I think leaving the people I have been with is going to be even harder. My class is very close, we can talk about everything. The boys do their own thing and the girls do their own things. Prom is coming up and my class is responsible for decorating for it. Next year I will be a senior and I will be going on senior sneak with my class and I hope we will have a good time. Just note that even if you’re not close to your class doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. 🙂

High School

When I was in the eighth grade I couldn’t wait to be a freshman, but then the day was here and I was a freshman. Do you always remember people saying high school is going to go by fast and you better enjoy it while it lasts? I was a freshman and my older brother was a senior. It was a very sad year for me because my brother was going to graduate and I was gonna be stuck in high school all alone. The days went on and the day of his graduation was here and I cried so hard. My freshman year was by far one of the best years. Soon I was a sophomore and it went by so fast I can’t even remember. Then it’s my junior year and it is almost finished. I am so close to being a senior and I wish it was my freshman year again. People were right, high school does go by really fast. I do enjoy high school.  Eighth graders, when people tell you that high school goes by fast, don’t say it doesn’t because it does go by super fast.

My Opinion On Big School VS. Small School

I have been going to a small school my whole life. I have never been to a big school. There is so much drama in a small school and everyone knows your business. In a big school I bet people would know, but it wouldn’t spread as fast, and not as many people would know your business. I think transferring from a small school to a big school would be extremely hard because there would be a lot more people and way more different groups of people. I don’t think you would find friends as easy as you would in a smaller school. Being in a smaller school makes it easier to go from class to class and finding people is easier. Big schools however, would be harder to find places especially if you just got there. Also a small school has Preschool-12th grade all in one school, where as in a big school it is broken up into elementary, middle school, and high school. I personally like being in a small school, but when I go to a college it will be bigger than the school I go to now.

Approximately 20.9 million or about 9.5 percent of American’s have depression. Depression is when you feel blue or sad. These feelings usually don’t last but a couple of days. People with a depressive illness usually never seek treatment. People usually treat depression with medications, psychotherapies, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. There are many different forms of depression such as major depression, persistent depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and many more. Major depression is a mental disorder characterized by a pervasive and persistent low mood that is accompanied by low self-esteem and by a loss of interest or pleasure in normally enjoyable activities. Symptoms of major depression are feelings of sadness or unhappiness, irritability or frustration, and loss of interest or pleasure in normal activities. Persistent depressive disorder is depressed mood that lasts for at least 2 years. Symptoms of persistent depressive disorder are poor appetite or overeating, insomnia or hypersomnia, low energy or fatigue, low self-esteem, poor concentration or difficulty making decisions, and feelings of hopelessness. Post-traumatic stress disorder is an anxiety disorder that may develop after exposure to a terrifying event or ordeal in which severe physical harm occurred or was threatened. Symptoms of PTSD are flashbacks, bad dreams, and frightening thoughts. People think that they’re even depressed when they have a break up, but I think something has to happen to have “true” depression. Don’t just think you have depression, go ask a doctor and see if you have it. Get help for it!!!
